Selective manual cutting (simulation of Combcut ®)
selective cutting at 10-leaf stage (S) of C. arvense population
The experiment was laid out as a randomised block design with three blocks, four treatments and two replicates per block, that is 24 experimental plots, each of a size of 3 m × 15 m. Treatments consisted of a control (C), an early herbicide application (H1) at an average of 4–5-leaf stage of C. arvense, a late herbicide application (H2) at the 8–10-leaf stage, before flowering.
