Description of Tested Tactic
The objective of this study was to quantify the effect of a two-year leguminous green manure crop in the crop rotation on the weed seed bank, weed species richness and weed diversity. The investigation was undertaken in a long-term organic crop rotation experiment that allowed a comparison of a five-year crop rotation including a biennial green manure crop with a five-year rotation consisting of annual cash crops only.
