In a five-field crop rotation, barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cv. Anni undersown with red clover (Trifolium pratense L.) cv. Varte, red clover, winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cv. Fredis, peas (Pisum sativum L.) cv. Tudor, and potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cv. Maret were grown in succession.
