Description of Tested Tactic
Effect of cover management on weed
germination and growth, for allelopathic and competition effect evaluation. Various cover crops flattened with steel roller crimper cylinder used as mulches are compared. The competition induced by the cash crop (Melon) towards weeds was also evaluated.
Description of Reference System
Tilled system with vertical rotary hoe control (no cover crop). Only one tillage is done at the same time of the ESC termination.
